Position Overview

We are currently seeking motivated, dependable, and skilled Home Access Specialist Technicians to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on position involving the installation and modification of accessibility equipment and residential construction projects in homes and commercial environments. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, communicate professionally, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Experience in accessible construction is strongly preferred, but we are also open to candidates with experience in transferable trades or related fields, including:

• Residential remodeling
• Bathroom construction
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• HVAC
• Electrical
• General contracting
• Maintenance or handyman services
• Medical equipment installation
• Mobility equipment installation

If you have strong construction fundamentals and a willingness to learn, we provide in-house training to help you grow within the accessibility industry.‍

Schedule

We offer a rotating 4-day / 10-hour schedule designed to improve work-life balance while reducing burnout and excessive overtime.

Schedule Format:

• Four 10-hour workdays per week
• Rotating schedules between Monday–Thursday and Tuesday–Friday
• Every employee receives a 4-day weekend every other week

This schedule allows for consistent full-time hours while giving employees additional personal time and flexibility.‍

Requirements

• Experience in accessible construction or a transferable construction-related field
• Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience
• Minimum 3 years of plumbing or bathroom remodeling experience preferred
• General construction knowledge and tool proficiency
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
• Smartphone with camera capability
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for projects
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism

‍Clearances Required

Candidates must be able to obtain the following clearances:

• PA E-PATCH Clearance
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• PA Child Abuse Clearance

Having these clearances already completed is a major plus and can expedite the hiring process.
